As Head Teacher of Aurora Wilden View School, it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to our school.

As a school community, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our young people where we hope every student can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. At Aurora Wilden View, we give every student, who joins us, the best chance of success.

Set at the heart of 20 acres of beautiful grounds, Aurora Wilden View School offers a unique opportunity to our students with a ‘home from home’ feel and a personalised approach of academic, vocational, and therapeutic curriculum that enables our students to excel. Our school is designed to take all the best parts of mainstream school whilst removing the barriers some students face.

Our team of staff are highly trained, skilled, and committed to building positive relationships with our students to support both the academic and emotional development from the moment they arrive with us. We place a team around each student and family, to welcome you from the moment you arrive. We intend to build a positive relationship; enable a smooth transition into school life and introduce a key worker for each student who will be able to celebrate success and work with you to overcome any challenges. We believe passionately that by providing the right support and building positive relationships, we can support our students to access positive learning opportunities, that they previously may have been denied.

At Aurora Wilden View School we recognise the importance of a holistic approach to education. Our curriculum is designed to provide a balanced blend of academic subjects, vocational and life skills so that by the time our students leave us, they are on their way to achieve their own goals – whether this be developing vital life skills or gaining specific academic or vocational qualifications.
