The Aurora Foundation Launches!

We are extremely excited to announce the launch of The Aurora Foundation and it’s first project.

The work each and every one of us is doing everyday gives children, young people and adults opportunities and life chances that unfortunately some people within the UK and abroad don’t have.

The Aurora Foundation is a not for profit organization that support projects in the UK and abroad which will benefit our students and staff and will provide opportunities for under privileged groups.

Importantly we do not just write cheques. We look to provide support, expertise and resources to help get the project set up and then educate the groups involved so that the project can become sustainable and self-sufficient.

Our first project will be supporting an NGO Dream Big Ghana, an initiative established to provide sanitation and education to a community situated in the Volta region of Ghana, two hours from the capital, Accra.

The community are seeking support to complete and maintain the community Learning Centre. They require funds to cover the teaching staff for a year and equipment to support learning such as books, solar power, wifi and IT. We have already donated £2,000 for them to complete the roof of their community Learning Centre.

We are working on developing the processes by which our staff and students can get involved and we look forward to sharing more with you in the coming months
