Open Evening: Aurora Hanley School

  • Aurora Hanley School (map)

Is your child experiencing challenges with communication and social interaction?

Located in the heart of Stoke City and rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted (Sept 2018), Aurora Hanley School provides flexible day placements for students with complex communication and social difficulties typically associated with Asperger’s syndrome and Autism.

Students are likely to experience challenges that impact their education and find mainstream settings difficult to navigate. Aurora Hanley School offers a differentiated curriculum to support each child with an educational programme that meets their individual needs, helping them to work towards their goals and achieve positive outcomes.

We’re holding an open evening on Thursday 20th June 2019 for parents/carers interested in exploring specialist provision for their child. This will include an ‘Introduction to the School’ from the Headteacher at 4.15pm prompt with an opportunity to tour the school, speak to SENCO, meet the rest of the team and ask questions. Our commissioning leads will also be on hand for questions/queries/support.

Families and children welcome, refreshments provided and parking available.

Time: 4.00pm - 6.30pm

Location: Aurora Hanley School, Cambrian Way, off Eaves Lane, Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent, ST2 8PQ
