Support Worker (Day and Night Shifts Available)

Salary: Start rate of £16,640, post probation rate of £17,160 per annum and £18,200 with QCF level 3

Hours: 40 hours per week spread over shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays

Location: Aurora Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, ST2 8PQ

Important: A full U.K. driving license is essential. Transport will be provided.

Aurora Hanley School is a new special school located in the heart of Stoke, offering flexible day and residential placements for students aged 6 to 19 years with complex communication and social difficulties.

Students may be on the autistic spectrum, have Asperger's Syndrome or other difficulties that impact their emotional health and well-being and create barriers to learning.

As a result of expansion plans we are looking for new enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our expanding team of Support Workers to empower the children and young adults we support to develop and grow in their own unique and inspiring way.

A Support Worker is one of the most important roles in a child or young adult’s world, as they spend the most time with them, playing a vital role in supporting them live the life they want and ensuring they can achieve their full potential.

If you are passionate about giving children and young people life chances that will shape their future, then you may well be the person we are looking for.

Candidates must hold a full U.K. driving license to aid in transferring the students to their classes. Transport will be provided.
