SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: Full time
It’s a really exciting time to work for Aurora Hedgeway School. We are currently looking a Teaching Assistant to join our growing team who are making a real difference to young people’s lives.
Aurora Hedgeway School is in the village of Pilning, 15 miles north of Bristol, and provides personalised education and care for children and young people aged 8-19 years old, who have autism and other associated needs.
The purpose of the Teaching Assistant is to support the children with their learning and care whilst in class. To manage behaviour and tailor approach to the individual child and to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment. On occasion the Teaching Assistant will need to support the Class Teacher with the day to day running of the class in the absence of the HTLA
