Location: Aurora Eccles School, Quidenham, Norwich, Norfolk
Salary: £13.59 - £19.32 per hour dependant on experience
Hours: Part time 0.6 (FTE = 1.0 based on a 40 hour week) with potential to rise to fulltime
Aurora is an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people and adults with special needs and disabilities. We are currently looking for a Occupational Therapist to join Aurora Eccles School.
Aurora Eccles School is an independent day and boarding school providing specialist education for students aged 7 to 20 who experience difficulties learning in mainstream school environments.
Situated in the Norfolk countryside, the school offers the perfect learning environment for each student’s needs to be met so they can develop and achieve their full potential. Eccles is currently undergoing a redevelopment which involves new classrooms and residential facilities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development of Occupational Therapy in a Residential Special School setting. The post holder will provide Occupational Therapy Services in response to needs identified by assessment and as set out as part of a Statement of Special Educational Needs or Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), to enable students to fulfil their potential all aspects of their lives.
A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Previous experience in an Occupational Therapist role, preferably with children and young adults.
