Fundraising for Dream Big Ghana at Aurora St Christopher's

Students at Aurora St Christopher’s have been fundraising to support The Aurora Foundation partnership with Dream Big Ghana.  This was done as through mini-enterprise project with the students producing goods and selling them in the Christmas Fair at school and in a local May Fair.

The money raised was used for buying musical instruments for the young people at Dream Big Ghana. The school was also visited by Dougal who leads Dream Big Ghana and was a wonderful opportunity for him to tell the staff and students all about the work they do in Ghana. We rounded the visit off by singing a Ghanian song and joined in playing some African drums, and Dougal gave all the students beautiful wristbands.

The school will continue fundraising and building the relationship with Dream Big Ghana.
