Aurora Brambles East School completed their first ever residential camping trip to the Lake District in the last week before the summer holidays.
Head Teacher Sam Clark and his team took 6 boys to the Lake District for two fun filled days of activities and one nights camping.
The group hiked up a mountain, went kayaking and Ghyll scrambling, before setting up the campfire and camping in wooden huts for night. Mr Clark said ‘The boys have shown tremendous progression throughout the year and it was a brilliant experience for all the boys and staff involved. For some of them it was their first camping trip and visit to the Lake District and they thoroughly enjoyed it’.
Next year the school is hoping to repeat and extend the trip to two nights and three days.
