Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £13,746.09 – 16,530 per annum dependant on qualification and experience.

Hours: Fulltime - Term Time

Location: Aurora Meldreth Manor, Hertfordshire/Cambridge SG8 6LG

Located on a fantastic 14-acre site Meldreth Manor is a special school and children’s home for children aged 6-19 supporting individuals who have severe and complex learning difficulties, including physical and sensory difficulties and complex health needs which impact on their daily lives.

The entire site is currently undergoing a multi million pound re-development in order to make it a fresh, invigorating and great place to work.

You will be a crucial link in supporting students with their learning, development and progress which may be delivered off site and outside of classroom settings at times.

  • Supporting an environment that fosters equality, diversity and the rights of all young people to be treated with respect

  • Placing an emphasis on support and empowerment of young people

  • Developing a greater understanding of disability issues and the values of Aurora and demonstrating these in the work
