As a Key Worker you will support the children according to their emotional, social and behavioural needs. You will have your own pupils assigned to you so you really get to know their needs. This will involve continuous assessment, development and progress reporting and working with relatives and outside agencies. You will also assist and prepare pupils for National Tests, examinations and assessments.
Having a QCF Level 3 - Care for Children and Young People, or previous experience working with children with ESBD/SEMN would be beneficial. However, if you have personal experience of supporting a relative that will be considered.
