Salary: up to £40,000 per annum

Aurora is an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people and adults with special needs and disabilities. In 2016 Aurora acquired two residential special schools and a residential provision for young adults in Bristol. Multimillion-pound investment has been put towards improving the living and learning environments to meet the high Aurora standards at these services.
As part of our next phase we are seeking a skilled clinician to work across several of our Bristol sites.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a number of growing services. We have ambitious growth plans and are looking for passionate and dedicated people to join our team and help us develop the services to be outstanding.
As Head of Clinical Services, you will have responsibility for managing an MDT including SaLT, OT, Physiotherapy, Clinical and Educational Psychology and Nursing. Reporting to the Area Principal, you will be working closely with senior managers at three services across four locations in the Bristol area.
Our new Head of Clinical Services will be able to evidence a strong record of successful strategic change and experience in leading and delivering clinical services, preferably across more than one location. Commitment to excellence is a given and they will be able to demonstrate their ability to manage people and budgets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
To establish effective clinical services that support the aims of the schools and residential services
To develop, manage and supervise clinical and nursing staff within the MDT
To ensure the individual needs of children and young people are met
To evidence positive outcomes for young people linked to their Education Health and Care Plans
To be responsible for assessing, writing, implementing and evaluating behavioural support plans
A relevant professional clinical qualification in one of the therapy disciplines, nursing or psychology
Registration with a UK professional health body e.g. HCPC, NMC
Management qualification would be desirable
