Are you someone who wants to feel proud of what you do each day? Do you want to help a young adult with disabilities live more independently? You don’t need to have any formal qualifications as we can provide the training you need to become qualified – what you do need is energy, enthusiasm and passion to help make a difference.

Here’s a bit more if you’re not convinced yet!

Located on a fantastic 14-acre site we’ve got two services: Aurora Meldreth Manor is a special school and children’s home for children aged 6-19 and Orchard Manor is a service for young adults aged 19+ – both support individuals who have severe and complex learning difficulties, including physical and sensory difficulties and complex health needs which impact on their daily lives. We are investing over £5 million into a full site re-development in order to make it a fresh, invigorating and great place to work.

As a Senior Support Worker you will work with and support through mentoring, coaching and best practice, a team of Support Workers to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment that puts the health, safety and welfare of our young people first. The role will also directly support young people who may have a combination of learning, physical, emotional and/or associated disabilities to live happy and fulfilled lives and to be as independent as possible as well as helping them to develop positive relationships and to be equal and valued members of the community.

You come in for your shift, make this person’s life awesome, and then go home. Now that’s a good job. That’s a brilliant job!
